210 g red lentils
1 tsp cumin
20 g butter
850 ml water
2 chicken stock cubes
200 ml coconut milk
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper

Rinse the lentils thoroughly.

Melt the butter in a large pan and gently cook the lentils and cumin seeds for 3 minutes.

Add the water and chicken stock cubes, then bring to the boil.
Cover and simmer over a medium heat for 15 minutes.
