2 tbsp olive oil

1 onion

1 cloves garlic

2 carrots, diced

2 yellow potatoes, cubed

420 g of green lentils

3 tbsp tomato paste

1 tsp turmeric

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp cumin

1.5 L water

2 veggie stock cube

100 g baby spinach

2 pinches salt

2 pinches pepper

1 sprig parsley

Start by placing the onion & garlic in the metal bowl. Set the EXPERT program, starting at speed 3 and increasing speed to 12. Scrape down sides & repeat if necessary.

Add the olive oil, Set the EXPERT Program at 120 degrees, speed 2A, for 3min.

Add the potatoes & lentils. Set the EXPERT program, at 120 degrees, speed 2A, for 2min

Add the tomato paste, turmeric, paprika, cumin, water and vegetable stock. If you are near your machine you can place a 1A occasionally to stir. Once finished let sit for 5min, then make sure lentils are cooked through.

Add spinach & gently stir through the soup

Place in a bowl topped with parsley & serve with crusty bread.
