440 g of chickpeas

1 garlic clove

80 g of tahini (45 ml)

45 ml of olive oil

0.5 half a lemon juice

1 pinch of salt

1 pinch of pepper

1 tbsp of water

0.5 tsp of paprika (optional)

1 tsp of olive oil

Rinse and drain the chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice and olive oil and add into the food processor.
  • 440 g of chickpeas
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 80 g of tahini (45 ml)
  • 45 ml of olive oil
  • 0.5 half a lemon juice

Press AUTO and keep processing until you have the desired texture.

Check taste, season and add water (add 1tbsp at a time/pulse/to achieve desired texture) if necessary to achieve a smoother hummus.
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 tbsp of water
  • 0.5 tsp of paprika (optional)

Scrape the hummus out into a serving dish and sprinkle with the paprika.

Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and serve with pitta bread. You can later store the hummus in an airtight container in the fridge.
