100 g plain flour
80 g sugar
1 sachet vanilla sugar (10 g)
100 g butter
50 g ground almonds
4 Granny Smith or Cox's Orange apples
1 tsp ground cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 175°C (gas mark 4).

Wash, peel and slice the apples. Lay the slices in a buttered ovenproof dish

Fit the food processing bowl with the main blade. Pulse to mix the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, flour and ground almonds.

Distribute the crumble mixture over the sliced apples to cover them.
